Our prayers and thoughts have been with, and remain with, Hollace and family. Absolutely disheartening. May Tom Rest In Peace – he fought the good fight! And Hollace, you have been an absolute saint – no better a caring person and caregiver than you.

Notwithstanding what is going on with the COVID variant, I am going to keep this Blog titled “Bill’s Happy Blog”. Just when we felt confident that we could begin re-normalizing our lives, uncertainty creeps in. Stuck in the Neighborhood again. I keep seeing the late Fred Rogers in my dreams.

End of Blog (for now at least). I had just changed the name of the Blog from “My COVID-19 Blog” to “Bill’s Happy Blog” to recognize that many of us just wanted COVID-19 out of our neighborhoods and our lives. Then, that dastardly virus reoccurred as “Big Deal Delta”.  More isolation, the possibility of lockdowns (probably on our own accord), and “Mr. Normal” is in hiding again.  Yuuuuuuch!

I started my Blog back in September 2020.  I did not know what exactly I was doing then, and not much has changed since then.  It has been for me a challenge, working with a totally new (for me) internet experience; but one that I have enjoyed.  Some 86 Posts later, I’m looking for different “challenge”.  Maybe, relational databases? Maybe, brain surgery? (I’m not going anywhere near the heart). Actually I am just waiting for FOOTBALL.

I’m not shutting the Blog down, merely giving it a rest.  Thank you all who have said nice things about the Blog and the effort.  Let me start my nap with one more YouTube clip, another Flash Mob proposal:

Getting lazy! Finding useful YouTube clips to Post is getting more difficult – well maybe not difficult. I am, however, running out of Flash Mobs that haven’t been hanging around for some time. Maybe next time I’ll do some “Britain’s Got Talent” or “America’s Got Talent” clips. Maybe not! Who knows? But it’ll be Flash Mobs I include today, a few anyway.

Welcome to my new Blog and a new week. Actually, the Blog is not new, but it’s title is: “Bill’s Happy Blog”. Although the memories of COVID-19 are still present and not be easily forgotten, I am HAPPY to rid my Blog of its prior title. For the “new” Blog and the new week, I offer for your enjoyment some inspirational musical YouTube clips that you hopefully will find uplifting, the first of which I find to be a tear-jerker. That clip is followed by a patriotic clip of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir at West Point, followed by three great flashmobs, including two that focus on Hallelujah. Enjoy.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SANDE ????

First and foremost, a clip showing the products of Fred’s awesome wood working skills. Then, the William Tell overture like you have probably not seen before. Next a clip that is true to it’s catergorization – “ How Do They Do This?” Finally, for our TT October reunion, a (probably too long) clip on St. Augustine.

By the way, I apologize for the fact that some of the clips sent require you to find the little “play arrow”. I hope to solve it by close of business 2021.
