HAPPY TAX DAY (Or Not😂)

Videos, The TT Line Dancers have been spotted; a cute little Irish jig; one of Abba’s last live concerts; (with all apologies if they are duplicates of what I have previously forwarded), some funnies for Seniors; a brave young lady from Mozambique and her lions; and a little diddy that some might consider slightly inappropriate (not me, however).

HAPPY 59TH ANNIVERSARY BARRIE AND BILL 🍷🍷

Videos: a ”feel good” clip followed by two ”flash mob” diddies. Finally a video and music better understood by us, the (older) TT ex-Pats.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RICH 🎂

A few videos for you today. First, contrast and compare the manners of Japanese society with what you would expect here in the good old USA. Next, see fine dining at its very best. Then its on to Fred and his wordworking projects for Sue over the past few months. Finally, if you are still into woodworking, open ”Fred’s Page”, scroll down almost to the bottom, and review Fred’s other woodworking projects.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TOM 🏌🏼‍♂️🙏

Four clips to make your day go by faster (or maybe more slowly). First, another video of human/animal interaction – remarkable if true. Cat lovers will enjoy the second clip, and those who understand how awesome nature can be will appreciate clip number three. Finally, and sadly, one of the last performances by Elvis Presley before his death.

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY TO ALL YOU LOVERS OUT THERE ❤️❤️

As usual, I have nothing substantive to say. Just sending on a few YouTube or other videos clips that I have accumulated the recent past. Wow, it is boring sometimes. I even threw in some educational information on India. The last clip is a favorite – how you get the groceries you order from Costco in England. Enjoy.

The gentleman who is featured in this clip was a baker by trade for most of his life, but he loved to sing. He could not afford to take the chance of making ”singing” his career choice, so he sang to his customers. When he eventually was let go as a ”baker”, he gave singing a try, winning competitions throughout Holland. This clip was made about 10 years into his second career.
We are always reminded of the enormity of the Chinese and Russian empires, but seldom do we put India in the same way. This clip on India is telling.

No news is good news, I suppose? Just want you to see the below musing of that great philosopher, anon.

“It is sad to think how much the Covid threat has affected our ability to enjoy the sights and pleasures of the world around us. What is even sadder, however, is that some of us, maybe just one of us, have/has forgotten or never knew, what those sights and pleasures are/were.”

Clips follow, the sweet, the ugly, and the “juggler”.

It Is Christmas Time for All Good TT Ex-Pats

Happy Holidays from Barrie and from me to our Tarpley’s Tavern friends whether here in FL, Virginia, NC, or wherever. I have a few XMAS clips for your holiday enjoyment, all music (sorry Fred, no woodworking). The first clip features Cassandra Star and sister Callahan singing once again a Christmas tribute to the season to the tune of Hallelujah. This is a repeat rendition of their performance that I brought to you a year ago.

Next, newcomers Caleb and Kelsey bring you yet another performance of “Hallelujah” to lyrics of the season.

The next two clips are of a group calling themselves the Piano Guys doing their take on Christmas instrumentals. Following on the heels of the Piano Guys is a rendition of “O Holy Night” by Celtic Woman and the classic “Drummer Boy”.

Closing out our little Holiday Concert is a performance of “Gloria in Excelsis Deo ” by the Piano Guys fronting a cast of hundreds.

Enjoy.
