This Post is another maintenance check on getting my silly Blog to listen to me and do what I tell it to do.   Hopefully you have received this Post via your email address.  Or perhaps you saw this Post by logging into www.bill2va.com.  Either way, please make sure that you check the Sidebar on the Post and “subscribe” to the Blog.  That way you should (and I use the word “should” advisedly) receive future Posts via email.  In other words, confirmed Subscribers will receive the actual Post via email, rather merely a notification via email that I have Posted.  Perfectly clear? Not!

Let me leave you to your own business for now (sorry Tom and Sande who are in the process of moving).  Let me also leave you with another audition from Britain’s Got Talent:

My Post of October 19, 2020

Usually I try not to Post every day, but I need to tell a story (I guess that is Fred’s line).  Barrie and I had to get out of the house yesterday.  So we drove northeast to Labelle.  Ever been there?  Don’t bother.  Because we were so adventurous, we headed south on Rt.  29 from Labelle.  I knew the 29 ran all the way south to Everglades City, but I had no idea what was in between Labelle and Everglades City.  Nothing! Nada! We went through Felda and then to Immokalee.  Then to Naples and back home to FM.  I could tell that Barrie was not impressed.  She was probably thinking of my planned daytrips to Swans Quarter, NC, and to Ahoskie, NC, in days gone by. Total busts.  All in all, the daytrip reminded me of our excursion with Julia to the Northern Neck looking for a home that Julia was tempted to buy.  That was a day to remember.  The only difference between our excursion to the Northern Neck and yesterday’s trip was that yesterday nobody could be accused of breaking and entering into a home.

Let me leave you with the audition of Susan Boyle of Britain’s Got Talent:

I’m still learning to deal with “blogs” and now I am putting my thinking cap on, exploring the vast world of YouTube.  I never knew there was that much good information out there on YouTube.  And the video music out there  is superb.  Today’s find for me was Allie Reynolds, a performer discovered on one of the reality talent shows.  Take a listen, below.  Once again you will encounter those pesky adds that you need to “x” out.

Nothing much on my mind today, as you will decide on your own when I am done with this Post.  If, however,  any of you are into YouTube Flash Mobs, click the below videos as they appear (one video will take you to the next video) .  Good videos, but sorry for the numerous ads that occasion the screen frequently.  Just click on the little “x” and those pesky ads will go away, one by one

My Post of October 7, 2020

Big day for us today – we received our flu shots (and Barrie received her pneumonia shot yesterday).

It’s hard to imagine, but it has been six years since Hollace graced the halls of the Golden Horseshoe golf course.
