To help you enjoy this, your birth date, please enjoy the following clips: 1) a clip of the Statler Brothers that we all can relate to; 2) the magnificent Blue Whale; 3) an African Ballet; 4) a cute Christmas clip; and 5) how many of you cooked your Turkey like we did.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ELAINE (Yesterday) HAPPY BIRTHDAY SUE (Today) 🎂
Enjoy the dayBIRTHDAY ladies.
Our prayers and thoughts have been with, and remain with, Hollace and family. Absolutely disheartening. May Tom Rest In Peace – he fought the good fight! And Hollace, you have been an absolutesaint – no better a caring person and caregiver than you.
Notwithstanding what is going on with the COVID variant, I am going to keep this Blog titled “Bill’s Happy Blog”. Just when we felt confident that we could begin re-normalizing our lives, uncertainty creeps in. Stuck in the Neighborhood again. I keep seeing the late Fred Rogers in my dreams.
Enjoy the following upbeat (at least I think so) YouTube clips:
Your aerial tour of the Hammock Beach Resort is first up. Then, Frank Sinatra and the Clowns; we all remember the Clowns, do we not? Finally, some endeavors that the TT Guys would never undertake.
To start your week, here are a few clips to enjoy: First, an amazing ventriloquist; Second, a rendition of the YMCA song that is a little different than the way we performed it at CH karaoke events; Third, a little science information that makes all of us pretty small in the scheme of things; and Fourth, an amazing display of art(?), theater (?), electronic wizardry that is on display at a Belgian airport. Enjoy!
My offering today is a YouTube clip about a young lady, a singer, Jen Malenka, whose career was interrupted by circumstances beyond her control, but whose career was renewed with the help of Josh Groban. It is a long clip, about 40 minutes, but poignant, worth your while, and truly “feel good”.
In addition to all the “sweetness” that the day brings, I include three clips for your enjoyment (or not): a special day for an elephant herd in Africa; a short clip on things that none of the TT guys would tryor even think of doing; and yet another “God Bless the USA” by Lee Greenwood and others.
Two of our favorite musical groups are Abba and Meat Loaf. Well, at least they are two of my favorite groups. The first video below is a mix of Abba’s 10 top songs. The second by Meat Loaf is the classic “I’d Do Anything For Love”.
First, a look back at some of the headliners on the old Ed Sullivan show (click on the arrow), followed by a pretty neat rendition of Messiah (how do they do this stuff?)
