HAPPY VALENTINES DAY

In addition to all the “sweetness” that the day brings, I include three clips for your enjoyment (or not): a special day for an elephant herd in Africa; a short clip on things that none of the TT guys would try or even think of doing; and yet another “God Bless the USA” by Lee Greenwood and others.

My Post of February 12, 2021

Today marks an anniversary, albeit an anniversary of which I am not necessarily proud. It was a year ago today that I had my heart attack here in Fort Myers. I cannot begin to thank you enough for your well wishes and kind thoughts for my recovery.  More important, however, your support for Barrie, Lindsey, and Greg was overwhelming and deeply, deeply appreciated by them and and me.  Thank you from the bottom of my heart. ???? ❤️

Announcement: Beginning today there is a page entitled “Fred’s Page” on the Main Menu to the left. On that page you will see clips of skilled workmen doing things that maybe only Fred understands and appreciates.

For the rest of us, a clip of a review of the highlights of the 2021CES Smart Show; and a few clips contained in emails that I have recently received.

Late Breaking – Wait, wait, there’s more: Bill went into a brick and mortar store for the first time in a year when he was at a Publix for his COVID-19 first shot.

It being Super Bowl weekend, I am sure that you all are prepping for the big parties on Sunday. ???? We are as well, to the extent that Barrie and I sitting down for dinner makes a party. Whooppee! To help you prepare for your Super Bowl party, I enclose some helpful YouTube household tips: uses for aluminum foil; how to fold a fitted sheet; how best to clean an oven rack; and how to tie a butcher’s knot.

First order of business, HAPPY GROUNDHOG DAY.

Today I have added a new Page to the Blog entitled “Fred’s Page”.  You can get to that page by clicking on Fred’s Page on the Main Menu on the left.  While exploring YouTube I have discovered a number of clips that are right down Fred’s alley, clips that I don’t necessarily understand or appreciate.

Also, I have added another two clips at the end of the COVID-19 page, one being a segment of the Mark Levin show “Life, Liberty, and Levin”, a Fox News program. Good information on the entire COVID-19 program. The second clip features two doctors, Simone Gold and Peter Urso, on their viewss on the efficacy of the “experimental” (their words) vaccines out there. Painfully long maybe and somewhat controversial, but if their views on the vaccine rollout are correct, perhaps there are or should be lessons learned. No additional clips today. Between the additional COVID-19 clips and Fred’s page, that’s enough homework.

Happy Birthday to son Greg. ????

Two COVID-19 questions for all you wise folks out there Blogland:

  1. Will our stash of Honey Graham crackers outlast the COVID-19 thingy?
  2. Will I ever feel comfortable with getting my hands anywhere close to my ears, nose and mouth?

For all you folks in the rich cities of Englewood, The Villages and Venice, I’m sure you have visited this Asian restaurant (click the arrow at the bottom of next screen to start).

Below are some shopping tips for gadgets and “As Seen on TV” merchandise that you can view “from the comfort of your own home”.

Two clips today. The first clip is of an Asian restaurant that you have just around the corner in your rich cities of The Villages and Venice.

The second clip is what I as Inspirational. Introduced by Stephen Spielberg about an orthopedist who joined the Marine Corps as a doctor during the Iraq-Afghanistan conflict. The story is somewhat dated, but remains inspirational.

HAPPY SUNDAY! I have added a couple more COVID-19 clips to the COVID-19 Page. In addition I have included a sheet pan cleaning clip (get the husbands cracking) and a few “Hax” clips. I guess I need to find some better stuff on the Internet to pass along.

First, for the you line dancers out there, a different version of boot scooting boogie performed by the Texas Tenors. Peter – I hope you understand that Fred, Rich, Tom and I will be sitting this dance out, but do your thing.

Meet Allie Sherlock if you haven’t already done so. Allie is an Irish lass, 15 years of age. She is listed on the Internet as a singer, songwriter, guitarist, and Irish busker (or one who performs on streets for donations). She is very good at what she does (she began at age 12 – her mom died when she was nine) and performed in the U. S. as well. The videos after boot scooting boogie are a few of her street performances:p

Happy Inauguration Day. For what it is worth, I am now including additional COVID-19 clips that I find interesting on the COVID-19 page of this Blog. The fact that I find some COVID-19 clips “interesting” should in no way imply that I fully understand the message conveyed. Oh well.

Today’s YouTube clips can best be described as Bill’s Kitchen and Cooking Tips which may be interpreted as honest-to-goodness nice things to know about equipment in the kitchen, or just techniques (“Hacks” or “Hax”, terms used by YouTube) that supposedly create adorable shortcuts in the kitchen. I have found some of these “Hax” to be neat or interesting, but not necessarily helpful in the overall scheme of things in the Universe.
